The Aboriginal and Local Business Participation in Recovery Program delivers a range of initiatives that support the participation of Aboriginal businesses and workers in the ongoing flood recovery and reconstruction works.
The Aboriginal and Local Business Participation in Recovery Program is jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement and is delivered by the WA Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
A flexible grants program is available to support projects that clean-up, restore, recover from or monitor the long-term impacts to environment, heritage and cultural assets that were impacted by the floods. Eligible applicants include non-profit organisations, community groups and prescribed bodies corporate.

This assistance is jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
Grants of up to $75,000 are available to assist pastoralists with out-of-pocket clean-up and reinstatement costs incurred as a direct result of the flooding associated with Ex TC Ellie. The grant covers activities such as the removal and disposal of debris, damaged infrastructure and equipment, deceased livestock; salvaging crops; and repairing damaged infrastructure and equipment.
Completion of eligible works by 30 June 2025
This assistance is jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements Category D.
If you are a small business proprietor whose assets or premises have been directly impacted by Ex TC Ellie, you may be eligible to receive a four per cent interest rate subsidy on new loans taken out for the purposes of repairing damaged assets or business carry on costs.
This assistance is funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements Category B.
A program jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements is providing temporary accommodation to house workers undertaking a large-scale program of recovery activities and reconstruction works.
The Temporary Workers Accommodation Program is jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

On 13 August 2021 the State Government announced an independent review into the Wooroloo Bushfire. Submissions were open from 20 August 2021 to 8 October 2021 and have now closed. The review was released in March 2022.
